And erroneous.

There are no items of machinery on either escalator.

I twist around, double checking.

Precisely at that moment, the strap of my bag becomes entangled in the moving steps.

Upon my discharge from hospital I shall be sending a strongly-worded letter to the station manager.

Escalators can be dangerous.

There should be some kind of warning.
